((Here is an example of what you will see in Xibalba and what everything means. What is written in Orange Writing is ooc explanation. Everything else is the example.))
Every first post of a thread in Xibalba lists the rooms, the badies, and the treasure you can expect to find there. In this example we will keep it simple with 2 rooms.
Rainforest Room - 2 The first section is the room name and sometimes a description. The number is what needs to be rolled by the Key Holder to get to that room. Gold ring $30 - 4 Pile of Socks $5 - 2 Emerald $60 - 1 Treasure comes next. The name and the price is listed first and then the number needed to be rolled to get it.
Tiger 2 - 3 Poison Snakes 4 - 1 Pitfall 1 - 2 Last are the dangerous things you can run into in this cavern. First is the name, then the roll to run into them, and finally the fight roll number you must get to defeat the danger to be able to move onto the next room. Each member can try to roll to defeat, not just the person that ran into the danger.
Desert - 1
Statue $50 - 4 DvDs $5 - 2 Emerald $60 - 1
Walking Cactus 2 - 3 Poison Snakes 4 - 1 Pack of Coyotes 1 - 2
Exit - 3 Yes, one does have to roll for the exit. Sometimes an adventure is cut short when the key holder opens the door to the exit. Key Holders are allowed to re-roll if their very first roll is to the exit.
Greater Xibalbans are able to make as many threads, which are considered adventures, as they have money to populate with rooms. Every adventure needs to have at least 5 rooms.

Post by Example Key Holder on Jun 27, 2012 11:45:29 GMT -6
The first post made by a human team must be the key holder. They will jump into Xibalba and roll. That will let others know where to have their characters land. Please note the role play here in the examples are very short. We expect more in actual threads.
The Key Holder closes his eyes and dives into the darkness, unsure of where he will land.
Room: [dice=3] [dice=3] [dice=3]
Each roll needs to be labeled. The first for a Key Holder is only the room roll. As you can see, the first roll showed up as a 3 which is the exit. This cannot happen in the first roll so the Key Holder is welcome to roll again. They must, however, keep their first roll there to show why they needed to re-roll.[mod=2][rand=99198537971093855376826942955619709657777204775928037461028215294]

Post by Example Treasure Hound on Jun 27, 2012 11:54:44 GMT -6
The Treasure Hound or Elementalist is welcome to post next. For now we'll post the Treasure hound. They need to role play jumping in and landing. They need to roll a find and room roll for the next post she makes.
The hound plugs her nose and jumps in. The darkness brightens to a dry and arid desert. Instantly, she can feel ears grow on her head and a tail sprout. Ah the lovely changes that come from being in Xibalba. The hound closes her eyes and feels about for treasure.
Find: [dice=5] This number says they didn't find anything in this room. You only get to roll once to find per room.
Room: [dice=4] This will make the next poster be attacked by a pack of coyotes. [mod=1][rand=443868380431615554020940468687968554694004141622489567176242789]

Post by Example Elementalist on Jun 27, 2012 12:05:45 GMT -6
Now it is time for the last team member to jump in. Now that all three have posted at least once there is no need for a post order unless the team wants it. The Elementalist is going to be attacked by coyotes as the previous roll states.
The elementalist jumps in and lands in the sand. Hot, dry air. It makes it easier to move air, her specialty. And she needed it for as she landed she spotted several coyotes dashing their way. She pushes air towards them, hoping to bash them aside.
Find: [dice=3] This roll shows the elementalist didn't pick anything up.
Room: [dice=5] This means the next poster will be attacked by a walking cactus.
Fight: [dice=5] This means the coyotes were knocked away and the next poster can role play them being defeated.[rand=9235413785011919137569820789990833473046962506769821287032971489][mod=1]

Now you can see what the basics of getting into Xibalba entails. Next we will look into character on character fighting. The fight roll works in two ways in a pvp setting. Let us look.

Post by Example Shadowman on Jun 27, 2012 12:24:41 GMT -6
The attacker must first post an introduction post. This doesn't mean they pop up and shake the hand of their opponents, this means they write themselves showing up and why they are there, then roll once.
The shadow man, horned and angry, was wandering the cavern looking for someone to make squirm. His beady red eyes spotted the group and he stepped forward, drawing his sword.
Fight: [dice=4] This roll counts as the defense against the attack(s) made against this person.[rand=38472344658695046701958528835665136455196260330975583158818316298]

For simplicity, we'll just have the elementalist fight our shadowman. It is the elementalist's turn to attack.
The elementalist whips her wind around at the approaching danger.
Fight: [dice=5] This roll tells two things. The strength of this attack that was just made and the defense for the next attack.[rand=94916762419689238573814315984859698804821604959825683214476196525]

The Elementalist's attack was greater than the Shadowman's defense. That means the hit lands. This fighting system isn't specific, it isn't like a mmorpg. We don't deal in hit points and the like. This is just a guideline. You need to reasonably play out the fight.
The demon looking creature was slashed on the folder, enraging him. He roared and ran forward, swinging his sword at the girl.
Fight: [dice=4]
This is, again, defense for next and attack for this post.[rand=16964722227965057970437493471928180163352091189693940796482977702]
